Fall 2011 came in a burst of colour for Carlos Miele. Carlos infused his pieces with fuchsia, electric blue, green, chartreuse while most collections stuck with ordinary fall colours like black and blue. Luxurious materials such as silks, furs and velvets were used. The collection was full of exotic gowns and jumpsuits perfect for a travelling socialite. Oversized head wraps accented some of the looks. In fact a lot of New York Fashion Week designers used head wraps or attached hoods this season.
