Italian outerwear brand Allegri presented its Fall/Winter 2011 collection in the New York Fashion Week courtyard. The setup was brilliant with black and white umbrellas hanging overhead while the presentation was shown in the middle. The collection was simple yet stylish with long and short cut coats. Colours included, black, brown, ivory, dark blue and white. The pieces looked very warm, comfortable and fitted.
Fall 2011 came in a burst of colour for Carlos Miele. Carlos infused his pieces with fuchsia, electric blue, green, chartreuse while most collections stuck with ordinary fall colours like black and blue. Luxurious materials such as silks, furs and velvets were used.
The collection was full of exotic gowns and jumpsuits perfect for a travelling socialite. Oversized head wraps accented some of the looks. In fact a lot of New York Fashion Week designers used head wraps or attached hoods this season. If you love glamour, luxury and lots of colour Carlos Miele is a must have closet staple for your Fall 2011 wardrobe.
