Jewelry retailers all over have been in frenzy trying to replicate the stunning blue sapphire ring that Kate Middleton received from Prince William. At around half million dollars, Kate Middleton’s oval 18ct sapphire and diamond ring is something most girls could only dream of for their engagement ring.
The ring was originally worn by Prince William’s mother, the late Lady Diana when she wed Prince Charles in 1981. Nearly thirty years later the shiny blue family heirloom has dazzled the nation once again. Several jewelry retailers have started to produce replicas of the ring starting at just around $40 and up.
Starting today, QVC will be selling a "Princess Simulated Sapphire Ring" by Kenneth Jay Lane. The ring will be available on its website and retails for $39.54.
